Pengaruh Media Sosial Terhadap Orientasi Politik Pemilih Pemula Pada Pemilu 2024

Pemilihan umum adalah proses yang penting dalam sistem demokrasi, dan pemilih pemula memainkan peran kunci dalam menentukan arah politik suatu negara. Dalam era digital saat ini, media sosial telah menjadi platform yang sangat populer dan berpengaruh dalam membentuk opini publik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh media sosial terhadap orientasi politik pemilih pemula. penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap orientasi politik pemilih pemula. Pemilih pemula cenderung menggunakan media sosial sebagai sumber informasi politik utama mereka dan sebagai tempat untuk berinteraksi dengan pandangan politik yang sejalan dengan keyakinan mereka. Selain itu, media sosial juga mempengaruhi persepsi pemilih pemula terhadap isu-isu politik dan kandidat.Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pengaruh media sosial terhadap orientasi politik pemilih pemula tidak bersifat homogen. Terdapat variasi dalam cara pemilih pemula menggunakan dan merespons informasi politik yang diperoleh dari media sosial. Faktor-faktor seperti kepercayaan terhadap sumber informasi, orientasi politik sebelumnya, dan karakteristik individu dapat mempengaruhi sejauh mana media sosial memengaruhi orientasi politik pemilih pemula.
